How blooming’ lovely was last summer?
Looking back, I remember the sunshine, days out with friends, surfing, the royal wedding, the World Cup and very close to the top of the list is this amazing Blists Hill Wedding at Blists Hill Victorian Town Museum with Meg and Tom!
Seriously, this wasn’t work, this was a glorious day out with some amazing people!
Me and Meg first met when she helped me out shooting a wedding a few years ago. I noticed she’d got engaged (bit of prime facebook stalking!) and kept everything crossed that she’d be in touch! It’s always a little nerve wracking photographing another creative-types wedding but I knew when we met for their engagement shoot (with their two doggies!) that it was going to be awesome and it really was. The wedding Gods pulled together and made this the most amazing day and from beginning to end, I don’t think I stopped smiling! The following day I had to pop a fair few pain pills, mostly to cure my face-ache!
Love, love, loved it all! So much so that this is slightly longer than my usual wedding blog post but I hope you get a feel for just how much I enjoyed this one! Every photo I’ve included brings back the most lovely memories! 🙂

I would absolutely love to shoot at this amazing venue again so if you’re planning a wedding at Blists Hill or another museum wedding venue, I’d love to hear all of your plans, from the intimate ceremonies to the epic dancing with the bridal party doggies in between!
