At the end of summer last year, as wedding season started to calm down, I got to shoot this amazing wedding at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Jo is a wedding co-ordinator at The Bond Company, one of my favourite venues and every wedding she’s hosted that I’ve had the pleasure of shooting has been a blast so I had high hopes for her own!

Obviously, it didn’t disappoint!

This was a dream wedding, with so much to shoot while at the same time being relaxed, fun and completely authentic to Jo and Rich.

There were conga lines, a limbo bar, The Great Brummy Bake Off, beautiful colours, favours and food, a fantastic magician, gorgeous surroundings and the dancing… oh the dancing! With The Candy Girls supplying the evening entertainment and teaching us all a few moves, there wasn’t a second that I wanted to put the camera down and take a break. Not even a breath!
