This place is amazing and was absolutely perfect for Hannah and Luke’s beautiful wedding last September 🙂
Formerly the beautiful family home of Hollywood legends Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, this medieval house is nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside far away from the madding crowds.
I went to visit before the wedding as I often do and as I drove down the long tree-lined driveway, my mind was full of creative possibilities for their wedding day.
They held their ceremony outside making the most of the late summer weather and with Notley boasting some stunning little locations dotted around the grounds, we didn’t have to go far to get some great shots for their portrait session.
We really did make the most of it. I may have asked two or three times too many (I kept seeing new photos in my head!) but Hannah and Luke politely accepted my requests for “just one more!” and I’m so glad they did because we ended up with some fantastic shots. Not hard really with them in the starring roles and their amazingly beautiful little girl, Penelope almost stealing the show by being so darn cute!
It’s a little late coming (although by no means the last of my 2014 weddings I have lined up to blog about!) but once again, “Congratulations Mr and Mrs Papadopoullos”! 🙂 I loved every minute of your beautiful day! x
