This summer, I decided to take on a few less weddings and spend the summer holidays with Frankie, making the most of the glorious weather we had, being tourists in our own little country!
I spent so many summers as a child in Croyde, camping at Ruda with Mom and Dad, crabbing in the rock pools and eating ice cream on the beach so being able to take Frankie and Jason down there and show them this beautiful little town was a real treat.
I’d had an amazing wedding in Devon a few weeks before this so Frankie and Jason had tried their hand at surfing while I worked and it turned out, she (not so much he!) was a real natural! On this trip, we all had a go! Thankfully, there is no photographic evidence of me being completely rubbish but the day before was the day Frankie showed me her skills and I was able to get a few photos!
Huge thanks to Surf South West for being amazing teachers – guess who’s asked Santa for a surfboard for Xmas this year?!
