Fazeley Studios is always a winner in my book – any Digbeth wedding gets my seal of approval but this venue was absolutely perfect for the fun, colourful wedding that Josh and Hannah had in mind.

When we first met in a little coffee shop in Birmingham and they told me what they were planning, I knew this was one day that I needed in my 2023 diary and I’m so glad I got to spend this fabulous day with them.

Surrounded by colour and with personal touches – loved the reference to Brooklyn 99 in the tie-clip and don’t think I’ll ever forget the flower men – these two tied the knot with laughter and love and I’m thrilled with the photos we ended up with – always helps to have page boys that are happy to be dragged by the feet around a dancefloor and best men that gladly performs cartwheels on the streets of Digbeth on demand!

The day started at Hannah’s Mom’s house with her and her Dad hopping in a gem of a car for the journey to Digbeth – a 1950’s Ford Zephyr with red leather interior – what a way to arrive in style!

I am the biggest confetti fan, I always suggest that when you think you have enough, double it! I’ll set up your confetti tunnel for you (with the help of a few willing bridesmaids and groomsmen!) and I’ll tell you not to look at the floor and not to hide your faces with your bouquet – this is no mean feat when you’re getting pelted in such spectacular fashion as these two – they’ve got some very enthusiastic confetti-throwing friends!

The streets of Digbeth feel like my second home and the bridal party photos and your portraits are one of my favourite parts of the day – getting that time with you all to relax, have fun and get some ace photos in the process!

If your best-man can cartwheel or your maid of honour can get the shots in in record time, so much the better!

Candid photography makes up a big part of the day – if you don’t see me, chances are I’m still shooting and getting photos that you’ll look back on and wonder when the hell that happened and what the bejeezus was going on!

Thank you so much Hannah and Josh for inviting me to shoot this phenomenal Fazeley Studios wedding, I had the best time with you all and when that ten year vow renewal rolls around, I’ll be expecting your call! 😉
