I’d never been to Sorrento before but it’s been on the bucket list for quite some time so when the opportunity came to shoot this beautiful Destination Wedding in Sorrento, at Chiostro Di San Francesco, I jumped right in!
Laura is the most beautiful soul and has been on my radar for quite some time. She’s my husband’s cousin and her and her sister Jayne are the kind of people that you’re both a little bit in awe of and also kind of wish you were!
Suffice to say they’re pretty cool and have always made me feel very welcome in this ace family!
Daniel is also super lovely and an uber-cool musician with a penchant for shiny shoes. He’s the perfect match for Laura so when they invited us to their wedding and asked me to shoot it, there wasn’t an ounce of doubt!
Being able to partake in the fizz-drinking was a novelty, I never drink while I’m working (which is why the photos by the end of the night are slightly lop-sided! The Dutch-Tilt is completely unintentional! 😉 )
This destination wedding in Sorrento wasn’t just in an ace location with a beautiful bride and groom, it also had the cutest flower girl in the world – yes, I’m biased because it was my little Frankie!
She was so excited bless her, she also had duties as ring bearer and did a speech at the reception. I was so proud, the tears were flowing behind the camera!
So, dive on in! I hope this makes you feel as warm and fuzzy as I did shooting it and if you’re planning a wedding in sunnier climes and want me to shoot it, drop me a line and tell me your plans!
You can see another destination wedding here if you’re looking for more inspiration 🙂
