May brought sunshine, rain and plenty of weddings!
I’d never shot a Greek wedding before and Christina had prepped me in advance to explain the traditional side of things. There were so many different customs to keep up with, my trigger finger didn’t stop all day. But I had the best time!
The bridal preparation was full of emotion with laughter, dancing, smoke and money and the ceremony was much the same.
I did love how close I was able to get during the service – this never happens and I was a bit wary of getting in the way but after a few nudges from the men presiding over the ceremony, I got stuck in and forgot my golden rule – to be as unobtrusive and invisible as possible! 😉
After the ceremony, we set off for Moxhull Hall and that little trigger finger of mine was still snapping away!
I absolutely loved photographing these two, Christina and Jon both looked amazing, they were a dream to shoot, especially against Moxhull’s beautiful backdrop.
Huge thanks to my second shooter on the day, the always fantastic Jennifer Peel, who worked over and above to make sure that Christina and Jon got some great photos from both of us.
Congratulations again Mr and Mrs Katsionis-Ayres – it was a blast! x
