As soon as we met, I knew that these two would be having the kind of wedding that I love to shoot – good company, ace music, beautiful venue, great food!
They started their wedding photography story with a beautiful engagement shoot at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir restaurant, in Oxford. Spending the day with them down there in such a beautiful setting and hearing all about their plans for their big day, I knew I’d hit gold!
Their venue was Avoncroft Museum, which was on my bucket list and thanks to their chef feeding me all types of dairy free food (including an amazing chocolate cake!) I’m a forever-fan now!
The place is stunning with a wealth of locations to shoot at without having to move too far away from the party and the guests loved it too, being able to have a little wander and check out all of the buildings on site, not to mention the little Choo-choo train ferrying people off for a circle around the tracks – one of my favourite parts of the day saw me travelling backwards on the train for some of their couple shoot – I felt like a stunt woman! (And yes, I’m well aware the train wasn’t going very fast at all! 😉 )
All in all, a pretty brilliant day and I was lucky enough to have help from the awesomely talented Lisa Webb as my second shooter who kept me company and made sure I was fed and watered all the while supplying some brilliant photography to boot! 🙂
