Ah Lisa, they are amazing!

Thank you so much. You’ve really captured the day so well.
We love them 😍🥂🕺💃

From the very second that Alice and Lee got in touch about their Bordesley Park Wedding, I was chomping at the bit to start shooting, celebrating and dancing away this particular day!
Alice’s big brother (one of them, it’s a fairly large family!) got married a few years ago and I was lucky enough to experience a Murphy wedding then, meet their amazing family and raise a glass, camera in hand of course, to Helen and Dan.
Now it was the turn of little sis Alice, who was marrying her fella Lee at this beautiful venue in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside.
They met in Australia, where they now live, and were planning on having a ceremony in both the UK and Sydney – unfortunately they didn’t need me for the Sydney part but even though the opera house didn’t feature in our backdrops, I think we did pretty well with the scenery here!
As always seems to be the way, we had a few raindrops throughout the day, which, although an old tradition, I still hold to be true and when you have a best man to hold a chair over your head to stop your hair (and amazing flower crown!) from suffering the wrath of the weather, I think you’re onto a winner where luck is concerned!
Lee, looking amazing in blue (with the best jacket lining ever!) threw some serious shapes on the trampoline, delivered a perfect speech and spun his bride around the dance floor like a Strictly pro and, Alice, well, I could easily blather on and on about Alice and how stunning she is but it’s not just the beautiful smile, fantastic hair and all round cool persona that do it –  she has a beautiful energy about her that makes everyone feel happy and at ease too. It’s not often you find that person, Lee found her and he’s holding on tight!
Now, if you know me, you’ll know I love a flower crown, just love, love, love them!
When I turn up to bridal prep and see a flower crown waiting to be dressed, I get a little thrill of excitement.
Alice’s was a gorgeous big, bright and beautiful head-piece and she looked incredible.
As Frankie told me when looking at these photos, “Alice is “the Bomb” Mom!”
She is.
Alice is “the bomb”!
Looking back through these gives me a smile as big as theirs.
I can’t wait to shoot a fun, relaxed Bordesley Park Wedding like this again and spend my day with cool, lovely people like Alice and Lee!
Roll on wedding season – very late this year but all the more important for it!
