“Lisa was amazing! She has produced some stunning photos for us and we couldn’t have asked for more.”
It’s been a while since I blogged but this one has been at the top of my list for ages now!
Becca and Suzy got married at The Bond Company in Digbeth, a definite favourite for me thanks to it’s laid back vibe, awesome location and brilliant staff. Every wedding I’ve shot there has been the most fun and this was no exception!
Becca and Suzy both got ready in a city centre apartment close to the venue where I shot bridal prep, dashing back and forth between both rooms to make sure I could capture the two of them. From the second I arrived and saw the dress, the suit, the shoes, the jackets and these cool as cucumber customers, I knew I was in for a treat 🙂
The jackets, by the way, were made by Becca and if you love them as much as I did, you can get your own here.
I’m not gonna lie, the ceremony made my eyes leak a little – the love between these two is clear to see and when they danced back down that aisle, my camera welled up a bit too! 😉
We set out into Digbeth and of course did the graffiti tour, a no-brainer for weddings in this area and even better with a touch of golden hour thrown in. For a winter wedding, the timings couldn’t have been planned better.
The heaters were on, the space invader machines were out, the drinks were flowing, the barbie was smoking!
By the time The Deckheds started playing the tunes, everyone was well up for a party and I do love a nicely packed dance floor so I jumped on in, tried not to get hit by inflatables too many times and celebrated an amazing day with two pretty perfect people!
