The Bar

This stunningly beautiful bar is not only a crowd pleaser for the evening festivities but also a great break out room for guests needing a calm environment during the day and with a stunning staircase leading from the bridal preparation area, this is the perfect place to make a grand entrance in your wedding outfit for your awe-struck wedding party and family members before the big nerve-wracking walk down the aisle!

Preparation Rooms

There are two, yes two, prep rooms for the morning of your big day!

One has the advantage of a salon with chairs, mirrors and all the pizzazz you need to get ready, the other has a turntable and dartboard, so get ready to fight over whichever you prefer! Both have  lounge areas and kitchenettes and of course shower rooms so you can get ready with every luxury you’d ever need.

Photo opportunities

Well yes, I’m all about the photo ops and this place couldn’t make it any easier for me to get those Wow! shots. With the cutest bridge over a babbling brook into a woodland, the red-brick walls, the front driveway and landscaped lawns and not forgetting their stunning feature wall, I’m spoilt for choice and bonus top tip, having all of these choices in such close proximity means you’re never too far way from the party and all of your guests!

Food

I’m lucky enough that I get fed at most of my weddings (not a necessity by the way but always much appreciated!) so I have an idea of the best wedding food in the business.

Blackbrook Barns caterers are the always fantastic Jenkinsons who turned out the most magnificent feast and I got the do a little taste test – I have no qualms in telling you that this meal was top notch! One of the best Ive had this year, and that’s no mean feat (it’s also worth mentioning that with a dairy allergy, I can be a slight pain for some caterers but you’d never  think that this meal was lacking in anything! Top tier for sure!

Suppliers

With so many amazing wedding suppliers located in the retail areas at Blackbrook, you already have your pick of the best with florists, make up, hair, treatments, dresses and more. Being on site means you can arrange your pre-wedding visits to suit your timetable easily and they can all point you in the right direction for other vendors, like photographers! Hello!

I also have some brilliant suppliers to recommend along with Blackbrook finest, I’ve worked with all of these people and they’re fab!

Party

Getting married also brings the opportunity for a right good ole’ knees up! And Blackbrook brings the party like no other!

Choose your own evening entertainment from a fab list of suppliers (or bring your own!), the team at Blackbrook will make sure you get to have your day your way and they’ll also be on hand to make sure it finishes with some raucously good dance floor action!

What better way to finish your day than throwing your hands in the air and dancing like you just don’t care – I can stay for it all or I can shoot the good stuff and then leave you to all get very drunk with little to no photographic evidence! 😉
