Every year I start these posts by saying what a smashing 12 months it’s been and wedding-wise, that’s absolutely spot on. It really has been a year of wedding highs!
But instagram vs reality and all that – it’s not been the easiest of rides so spending time with these gorgeous people on their happiest of days has helped me to ride out the storms in the best possible way!
I had small weddings, huge weddings, sunny weddings and muddy weddings.
I’ve had cartwheeling, singing, boozing and raspberry blowing.
I photographed the best arrivals with tractor-driving-bridesmaids and bum-bag-wearing-flower-men.
There was enough booze drunk to fell an army and enough canapés eaten to sink a ship.
How can I fail to smile and post all of the good, gorgeous and groovy on social media?
When I look back at 2023, this is what I want to remember, so join me in cheering on these utterly fabulous brides, grooms, flower people and their families, saying goodbye to a year of ups and downs and hello to what I hope will be a year of up, up and aways!
