The Best Wedding Photography of 2021! That’s quite a grand statement. But I stand by it!
It’s hugely dependent on having amazing couples to photograph. And I’m lucky enough to have amazing couples!
What a ride last year was!
Highs and lows galore but luckily the dizzy heights far outweighed the doldrums.
From the barns to the tipis to the castles and stately homes, I really do get the best couples and each and everyone of you knows how to throw a bloomin’ good knees up!
So here we are, in a new year, looking forward to good health, amazing celebrations, holidays and honeymoons, mask free ceremonies and no limit on guests or good times! I can’t wait!
What better way to kick it all off by looking back at 2021 🙂
These are the ones that for one reason or another made my heart strings ping!

Thanks to Covid, a few postponements fell on dates I was already booked for. I also had a very untimely health issue but luck was on my side in the form of some amazing associate shooters who stepped in when needed to shoot some beautiful weddings for me. Thankyou to all of you!
And yes, I did sit here stewing when I got to see the outcome and my computer was filled with some of the most amazing brides and grooms on their happy days that I’d have killed to shoot. But, all of those couples get a massive virtual hug from me for being so wonderfully understanding and extremely generous (thank you for the cards and pressies!)
The majority of 2021’s fantastic days, I did get to shoot, and it was so good to be back in the saddle again after the strangeness of the Covid months!

Weddings in 2021 came in every shape and size from the micro weddings to maxing out at the most a venue could handle.
I’ve always said that the number of guests doesn’t matter, it’s always the quality of your guest list that makes for a good wedding.
Invite the people that you’re closest to, the ones that’ll cry when you say “I Do”, the ones that’ll join you on the dance floor and the ones that’ll offer to help your photographer pop off something creative on the evening (thank you to all those guests that held flashes and fake fog, you know who you are!)

You might notice a common theme in all of these photos – big smiles and belly laughs.
There’s nothing better and when you look back at these memories of your amazing day, my wish for you both is that you’ll remember these, the beaming smiles and the roars of laughter!

I had a veritable rainbow of dresses, suits and flowers in 2021, it’s such a joy to turn up on the morning of a wedding and see what stylish plans you’ve been cooking up during those long Covid months.
Red and blue and polka dot dresses, orange, purple and yellow flowers, tan suits, pink ties, flat shoes, towering heels. You all smashed it in the style area last year!
Not to mention your beautiful fur babies in bow-ties who turned up to cheer you on!
You made taking the Best Wedding Photography of 2021 a breeze!

What a blast! 2021 gave me all the love, all the laughs, all the glamour and all of the fun!
It’s such an honour to photograph these days, to be allowed an inside glimpse to see how you and your nearest and dearest like to party. And to capture it all for you to look back at over the coming years and remember this, the most beautiful of days – the start of your next big adventure!

Are you planning your wedding?
I’ve still got a few available slots in 2022 and 2023 is already filling up fast so if you’ve made a start on your wedding to-do list, move “book a fantastic photographer” to the top and give me a call.
I can’t wait to hear all about it!
