Excited is an understatement! Just wow! There were lots of happy tears!
It was great having you as part of our day and you both made us feel relaxed and at ease.
We absolutely love our pictures, we are off to look again and celebrate with some more wine.

One year ago today, Charlotte and Will helped me to kick Christmas off in style with a beautiful Mythe Barn Winter Wedding.

Frosty, cold and beautifully crisp, this was everything that you could wish for with a wedding at this time of year (my favourite time of year by the way – yes even in 2020!)

Mythe Barn is the perfect place, whatever the season – but entering the barn on the morning of the big day, feeling the warmth, not only from the barn itself but from the beaming smiles on everybody’s face gave me a big Ready Break glow!

The day started with bridal preparations where I found a very excited Charlotte and her bridesmaids pouring the fizz and getting ready for the day ahead.

Wedding Ceremony

The Oak Barn is every photographers dream for a wedding ceremony – beautiful light streams through the double height windows, landing softly onto the faces of our smiling couples.

Charlotte and Will gave me plenty of smiles to photograph.

What a gorgeous moment to be a part of, especially when Charlotte and her Dad walked down the aisle towards Will – seeing that moment for the first time never gets old! The smiles, the laughter, the realisation that this right here is what all the months of planning have been about and the relief to hold each others hands again and feel safe with each other – it’s such an honour to do this for a living!

Wedding Portraits

Clever Charlotte – she brought wellies!

Not a necessity but a definite bonus with a country-side wedding venue in the winter months!

Mythe is surrounded by beautiful fields (and sheep!) so I always make sure to make the most of the scenery when shooting here and luckily, at Charlotte and Will’s wedding, portrait time coincided with golden hour so while the guests were being seated for the wedding breakfast, I took some time with them to get a little bit muddy!

Mythe Barn Winter Wedding Reception

Just before the evening guests arrive, ahead of the dancing and the boozing, I’ll always try and take you off for a couple of extra portraits and if you’re planning a winter wedding, those dark nights will give me the chance to get my creative juices flowing!

What better way to grab a few minutes with your new husband or wife before your dancing feet start tapping?!
