OMG! We love them, they’re amazing!

We can’t tell you how thrilled we are.

I feel like I’ve been sharing all of my summery weddings and forgetting about the beautiful wintery weddings which I absolutely love shooting!

Cold fingers and cold toes but very warm hearts and lots of laughing to keep me toasty.

This was the case at Katy and Josh’s Dodford Manor Wedding in Northampton.

A new venue for me and one that definitely wowed!

So, pour a cuppa, fill the hot water bottle, take your eyes off the rain outside the window and direct them to these beauties. I guarantee that even if your toes are still cold, at least your heart will be filled with a Ready Break glow!

This beautiful rustic venue, set against a stunning countryside backdrop was the perfect setting for Katy and Josh’s winter wedding. They decorated the gorgeous Mortain Barn with green fir and spruce and added wintery blue tartan to tie everything together 🙂 The barn smelled absolutely amazing for the ceremony!

Bridal Party

I love a nice mix of bridesmaids dresses and Katy’s colour scheme worked so well. All of her bridesmaids looked stunning and more importantly felt amazing! The boys were the same, wearing their own choice of suit apart from Josh and the best man in a beautiful winter tweed.

How amazing is this wood inlay detailing on Katy and Josh’s table details?

I see a lot of wedding details but these kept bringing me back for more photos! The intricacy was so delicate but still stood out with the wow factor!

Dodford Manor Wedding

Dodford was such a stunning venue to shoot at and once the winter light disappeared, a whole new side of the barns came through inviting all of the guests to get relaxed and cosy for the evening celebrations.

Winter weddings have a totally different vibe to them, the night-times tend to kick in a little earlier making for a brilliant party atmosphere and opening up the opportunity for a few warming toddies to help people get their dancing feet on! 😉
