This was Part 2!
Their traditional Indian celebration was held at The Park Hall Hotel in Wolverhampton and it was a real treat to be a part of.
With two stunning outfits, one for the daytime ceremony and one for the evening’s dancing, Shruti looked like a princess!
With none of us quite sure what the format of the ceremony would be (I’ve photographed a couple of Indian weddings before but each one has been slightly different) we were ready for anything but with so much going on and so much to shoot, it’s very easy to get completely lost – all part of the fun! – so we all just mucked in and went with the flow. I’m not sure that Sam, by the look on his face, was quite so sure about the eating and drinking parts of the ceremony but it gave me a good giggle and I’m always looking for those little expressions that tell a tale during the wedding day – Sam didn’t disappoint!
I absolutely love being part of something so special and every wedding gives me a thrill but being able to shoot days like this, it’s the cherry on the top of a very decadent cake for me! 🙂
