To make V-Day even more special, here’s a little shoot I’ve been working on. Another beautiful bridal shoot that gave 2012 the kickstart it needed!

The Blue Piano in Edgbaston is a beautiful restaurant. When I learned it would open as a wedding venue I teamed up with some of the wedding world’s coolest movers and shakers to come up with the inspiration for this bridal shoot, featuring the gorgeous Robyn.

Wearing two lush gowns from The Wedding Club, Robyn was a joy to photograph. The first gown – sleek and contemporary by the inimitable Jenny Packham. The second – cool, fun and sophisticated, by style-genius Matthew Williamson.

Sandy Bahia was in charge of hair and make-up and Invitation Only styled the shoot. Check out the pretty-as-a-picture aisle that they built especially for us !

The Blue Piano not only has the most amazing food but it’s very many rooms give couples looking for a romantic, intimate and super-stylish venue everything they could ever ask for.

I’ll happily come and take their photos !

It helps that he’s my cousin’s little boy so I am slightly biased but, come on, look at his gorgeous chubby cheeks and tiny little toes. Completely irresistible!

I’m sure there’ll be many more shoots to come as little Thea is one of the cutest babies I’ve ever photographed.

With the sub-heading of “The One Hundred Most Compelling People of 2011″, I have to agree, it’s a fitting issue to be included in.

The compliments for this wedding just keep on coming !

It was four years ago this week that poor Heath Ledger died.

He was an almighty talent and utterly gorgeous.

He posed for me at a photo shoot in New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel and it’s a memory that I’ll cherish forever.

He looked tired and he was very quiet but his girlfriend at the time, Michelle Williams, had just given birth to their beautiful daughter, Matilda, and he was blissfully happy to have become a dad.

I congratulated him on their new addition and he drew a deep breath, smiled the most beautiful smile and said, “It’s amazing. I love them both so much.”

To hear such heartfelt emotion from someone that guarded his privacy so fiercely really touched me.

RIP Heath.

Gave me a bit of a giggle on a Monday morning.

This is obviously very tongue in cheek, but if I had any, I would be throwing out my Clarks clogs right now !

This shoot was featured on OMG I’m Getting Married recently and the lovely Alexis gave us a stunning write-up.

Part 1 had a wintery Ice Queen theme and following up is this serene, earthy theme to warm the cockles a little.

The beautiful model, Anna, made no complaints about the cold and luckily, seemed immune to goose bumps.

This shoot is one of my favourite’s to date and makes me want to get married all over again. And die my hair auburn.

I’m starting my first day back at work with a post to suit these cold, hot water bottle days.

Back in December (remember 2011?) I was asked by The Wedding Club (the West Midlands finest bridal wear and evening dress stockists) to photograph a wintery bridal shoot.

We did four separate shoots and this Ice Queen styled shoot is the first.

It recently featured on the lovely Alexis’s wedding blog OMG I’m Getting Married and she followed it up with Part 2 which I’ll feature at the end of the week.

I’ve had my first piece of writing published !

And poor Jason shall never, ever hear the end of it.

After OUT Magazine published Mike and Dan’s wedding (both online and in print) their dashing, handsome, suave and sophisticated editor (I want more work obviously!) asked me to compile a Tip List to get the best out of your wedding photos.

With my fingers rattling that keyboard ten to the dozen I stayed up well past my bedtime one night to piece together my “Ten Tips for Top Wedding Photos” and no sooner had I sent them, they appeared here, online, for all to behold !

Now, I’m used to having photos published here there and everywhere but this has just knocked me for six ! I’m over the moon !

There’s some of the cutest babies, some of the glammest weddings, some of the most loving moments and some of a little girl called Frankie who can’t fail to make it into my number one spot !

But I guess I’m a little biased !
